About
I began embroidering pins a few years ago when I was trying to find a way to balance my love for making jewelry and my obsession with embroidery thread. I had just finished a series of small abstract paintings using thread and was in the process of selling them at different artist and craft markets in Brooklyn.

Surrounded by so many creative people at these events, I decided to start making jewelry again. I’ve always enjoyed playing with materials and found a couple perforated pin bases that seemed perfect to embroider and experiment with. I made a couple, and to my surprise, they were the first items I sold at the following event.

I’ve always find my inspiration in the city’s fashion and architecture; and for 3 years now, I’ve been experimenting with shapes, colors and patterns to create unique pieces. I feel that as an artist and designer I’ve had several breakthroughs with composition and shapes, considering the limited grid of each pin base. It always amazes me when a new shape is created by the stitches and suddenly a new collection is born.

Since 2008 I’ve met amazing creative people that have inspired me to continue creating. I’ve sold many pins and I’m happy to say that they are all around the world!
